Innovative start-up developing intelligent packaging prototypes for monitoring the freshness of protein-based foods. The devices take the form of one or more miniaturised units that, placed inside the packaging, detect whether there is a degradation process and thus enable the freshness of the food inside to be recognised. The company is targeting players along the agri-food chain who are interested in providing added value to their products in the name of sustainability and combating food waste, as well as safeguarding consumer health by avoiding the consumption of spoiled food.
